Caribbean Mural
This mural was painted for a private client in a hot tub room. The clients wanted lots of personal touches and humour to remind them of their Caribbean holidays. The ceiling was painted so that from the hot tub you are seated in a Caribbean hut with a 360° view.
A fishing boat sits on the sand tethered to the hut, a turtle
basks in the sun and a distant yacht sails the sea. (Due to the
positioning of the hot tub the photograph was taken at an
angle and there is some distortion). The second photo shows
Lorna with a friendly Pelican! Lorna is a very talented art
student, who helped me during this commission.
