Two Chinoiserie Panels Painted on 23.5 carat gold leaf

These Chinese styled panels were commissioned by a private client. In the design specification the client requested that they had an antique appearance. Denise prepared a lustrous base of 23.5 carat gold leaf and created the artwork using sienna, ochre and umber paint tones. The final effect was opulent and stunning.
