Murals and Trompe L'Oeil

Ship Deck Mural

This ship deck and sea view mural was painted in a bedroom in Essex, near to the river the Blackwater. A Thames Sailing Barge has been painted sailing past. A trompe l'oeil cloth and bucket are painted on the wood-grained sides of the boat to give a sense of work on deck and add to the illusion, this creates such a sense of space and tranquillity in this bedroom mural.
